If you have an expertise in something (a business industry, a hobby, an amazing backstory to share & learn from, etc) YOU COULD BE A PAID SPEAKER! Inspirational, educational, motivational, and memoir speakers get paid everyday around the world to share their knowledge with audiences: from local clubs & associations to global business forums and end of year company retreats! Many speakers make upward of $10,000 per one hour on stage presenting! This is the state’s foremost training center for becoming a professional speaker! Classes take place ONE Saturday per month from 9 AM-3 PM (Lunch included!) at the Mercy Conference Center, 167 Neck Road in Madison, CT. This is the FULL integrated program from the national NSA Academy that sells for more than $2,o0o, Available now, here in CT for half the price! Receive interactive, in-person coaching from seasoned professional speakers and network with fellow aspiring speakers while you learn how to: cultivate strong speaking skills, develop your speaking topic(s), learn platform mechanics, sell and market yourself as a speaker, build professional relationships and build a profitable speaking business. This course will help boost your eligibility for joining the prestigious National Speakers Association (NSA) and will help book you a first gig to get you started! All Speaker Academy graduates are granted a full year membership to the CT chapter of NSA…and will be invited to partake in a special ‘Speakers Showcase’ night at the June chapter meeting, where they will have a chance to present their topic in front of an audience, in a 6-8 minute ‘Ted-like Talk’ for feedback and testimonials they can immediately use on their speaker website. VIDEO PRODUCTION SHOWCASE EVENT #2! Need some clean, well produced video footage for your website, social media or You-Tube channel? Here’s your chance to be part of the state’s only speaker video production showcase, where 4 registrants (presenters) will be showcased ON STAGE with a small audience (make-up artist included!) with a 2-3 camera professional production team to videotape you! Full presentations not needed, just snippets/sound bites of your message for filming. First event held on Nov 3rd was a smashing success! Next event to take place early spring 2018. Email Lisa if you would like to be put on a wait list so you’ll have first dibs on registration when it opens up. To hire a film crew on your own, could cost you upwards of over $2,000.
